Celebrating a New Beginning Transforming an Orphanage into a Brighter Home
Today, we are overjoyed to celebrate the successful completion of our charity project—renovating an orphanage to create a better, more nurturing home for the children who live there. Led by Interiologic, a design and build company, and supported by our main co-sponsor, INFORMA Furnishing, this initiative was a heartfelt collaboration to bring hope and happiness to the 40 children of Panti Asuhan Calvary, Bekasi.
A heartwarming celebration indeed, as the completion of this project was marked by a beautiful and touching ceremony, where we were welcomed with open arms by the orphanage’s management team and children. Their heartfelt performances and warm greetings left a lasting impact on all of us. We shared songs, prayers, and moments of gratitude, led by the orphanage’s reverend, making the day an unforgettable experience.
A Special Musical Surprise! Adding to the joy of the occasion, we were honored by the presence of Hiroaki Kato, a renowned actor and singer, who delighted everyone with his music. His bilingual Japanese-Indonesian rendition of “Mungkin Nanti” (originally by Ariel Noah) and the all-time favorite “Laskar Pelangi” (by Nidji) had the children singing along with excitement. This special moment was followed by a meet-and-greet session, where the children got the chance to take photos with the humble and talented artist.
To further brighten the celebration, our young guests were treated to delicious milk tea and snacks, generously provided by Chatime and Cupbop. The smiles on the children’s faces were priceless, making the event even more memorable. Representatives from Interiologic and Informa, alongside the orphanage’s management team, came together to share in the joy of this meaningful day.
Gratitude to Our Supporters! This incredible transformation would not have been possible without the generosity and unwavering support of our sponsors and donors. We extend our deepest gratitude to INFORMA Furnishing, I-AM, The Entrepreneurs Society, Fortress Doors, CMC Plywood Company, The Joyful Farm, Lumbung Kencana Kemasindo, Alkycoat Paints, and many other kind-hearted contributors who preferred to remain unnamed. Your contributions have made a tangible difference in the lives of these children, giving them a home filled with hope and warmth.
While this renovation marks a significant milestone, our mission does not stop here. This project has reminded us of the power of collective action and the impact that kindness and compassion can have on young lives.
Thank you to everyone who played a part in this journey. Your support and generosity are truly changing lives.
